Dancing with the StarsHOLLYWOOD – The winner is . . . Kristi Yamaguchi, as if we didn’t see that coming.

After the review of Monday’s performances, Usher came out and performed. With moves like that, it would be great for DWTS ratings to have him in the competition next year. But was it just me or was the lipsynch a bit off? Ah who cares?

After the break, the first elimination and Cristian was sent home. NOW GO GET THAT ARM FIXED! I feel more for Cheryl though, she is my favorite.

The losers came back to dance. That is the previously eliminated stars. It was good seeing Adam again (I’m a fan of the Man Show). He definitely got the crowd going with his “God Bless America” speech.

Next the kids, and Brandon and Brittany won. Ok that’s out the way, back to the eliminated stars. After Priscilla danced. They mention Jason and Cristian’s friendship jokingly as a romance. Speaking of romance, Shannon and Derek came on the floor to do a quick step. Tom was definitely enjoying have Shannon’s leg wrapped around him … I would have too.

Mario and Karina were stunning … ok Karina was stunning (she’s my second favorite pro). Marissa and Tony danced after the break. Afterwhich, the judges did a review of the final two.

Usher came back out, and he was dancing with Karina. That between the leg move with Karina made my jaw drop.

Hmmm, am I missing something about boxing today? First American Idol and now DWTS with the “Rocky” music playing with the final two coming out for their final dances. Hmmm,

Kristi did the Jive. It was very energetic, and technically flawless. Len said she was the most consistant performer of any season. Bruno thought she didn’t miss a beat. Carrie Ann thanked her for representing the ladies so well. Score 30

Pressure is on Jason. He and Edyta did the quick step. Wow that showed how much he has improved over the course of the show. Bruno thought it was his best. Carrie Ann thought it was graceful, and Len declared him the peoples champ. Score 30

But in the end, the winner was Kristi. She broke the curse, the first woman to win since season 1.
